County Veterans Service Office reopens

GREENFIELD — The Hancock County Veterans Service office has reopened after being closed for several weeks due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The office, in the Memorial Building at 98 E. North St., is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.

The office assists veterans and their families in obtaining a number of benefits to which they may be entitled, including health care, disability compensation, pension and educational, financial and vocational rehabilitation assistance.
