KNIGHTSTOWN

Kelley Rae (Mulholland) Roland, LPN, 58, of Knightstown, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 23, 2020 at her residence. She was born December 7, 1961 in Prince George, MD, a daughter of George and Catherine (Riddleberger) Mulholland.

Kelley was a 1980 graduate of Cincinnati Christian High School in Fairfield, OH and attended Evangel College in Springfield, MO and Brown Mackie College in Indianapolis. She had been employed at Hoosier Youth ChalleNGe Academy as a LPN. Kelley was formerly employed at Knightstown MainSource Bank as bank manager, was assistant bank manager at MainSource Bank in Anderson and Rushville. She also had been employed at Knightstown Jr./Sr. High School and was a previous owner of Competitive Edge Beauty Salon in Knightstown. She was a member of Knightstown Business and Professional Women’s Association, was an avid reader, enjoyed photography, crafts, movies, gambling, spending summers in the pool with grandchildren, traveling to the mountains in Tennessee and beaches in Florida.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Larry A. Roland; four sons, Dane Roland, Evan Roland, Brandon (Brittney) Roland and Samuel (Emily) Roland all of Knightstown; 11 grandchildren, Victoria, Ty, Carson Ashton, Brooklyn, Bristyn, Maximus, Lincoln, Ace, Tilly, Reese and Baby Rae due April 28; sister, Bonnie (Rick) Vogt; twin brother, Kevin (Mary) Mulholland, sister, Debbie (Tom) Schafer all of Cincinnati, and brother, Wally (Kristen) Mulholland of New Hope, PA; sister-in-law, Roxie Gorman of Knightstown; brother-in-law, Whitey (Phyllis) Roland of Spiceland; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandmothers, Ruby Burnette and Margaret Vivian; father-in-law, Lawrence (Whitey) Roland; mother-in-law, Sara Roland; aunt, Rae Plemmons; and brother-in-law, Monte Gorman.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions all services will be private for the Roland and Mulholland families. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2020 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel.
