This extraordinary week of news has brought one significant story after another. Almost all of them have been unpleasant. Our thoughts are with everyone who is working through the difficult realities of this historic public health crisis.
The marketplace’s response to the COVID-19 threat has been swift and potentially devastating for any number of businesses in Hancock County. We feel their pain.
Here at the Daily Reporter, we are moving to a new footing as well. Starting today, our coverage in some areas will change. With all high school sports events canceled for the foreseeable future, the amount of space devoted to sports coverage will be dialed back. Our popular Just4Fun pages, which chronicle entertainment events throughout Hancock County every Thursday, will go on hiatus since all events have been postponed.
Other changes are likely as well in the near future.
