GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Water Utility will be flushing water mains in the city north of McKenzie Road beginning March 23.
The process will take several weeks to complete.
Water discoloration may occur during this time, and not all areas will be affected at the same time. While the water is safe to consume, residents should run cold water for at least 15 minutes or until the water is clear. They should not do laundry or run hot water while discoloration is present.
