To the editor:

Bernie Sanders wants to take the money away from rich people and give it to the poor and middle class. Bernie is rich, so I’m sure that he will include his money. Hey, Bernie will you give your money to the poor and middle class? Bernie was talking about the billons that Jeff Bezos has and it should be put to better use. Well, I hate to be a realist, but this will never happen.

The rich people in this country will take their money, get in their private jets, fly to wherver they desire and live happily ever after. What will happen if Jeff Bezos takes his billions and moves out of the country and closes Amazon? Jeff Bezos doesn’t have to work. After working 12 to 20 hours a day for years, you want him to give it away. Really?

The Democrats want to open our borders to illegal immigrants and give them free food and housing, etc. Once again, all of you forgot you’re really not in charge. What about We the People? How can we get on this gravy train? I can’t speak for everyone, but I don’t want to work 40 to 60 hours a week and pay higher taxes so others get stuff for free. How about everyone else? We need to call our reps and see how We the People can get free stuff, too. We are still citizens, aren’t we?

Students say that college costs are too high but people with money should pay. We all make decisions in our lives about whether we can afford the things we need or want. So, if you can’t afford to go to college, don’t ask anyone else to pay, because they have their own bills to pay.

We the People have been telling our servants (congressional representatives) in Washington for years that we want term limits, people to work together and get the nation’s business done. The budget hadn’t even got to the House and Chuck Schumer said it’s not going anywhere. Have you started to work on the problems yet? What are the problems and how can they be fixed? We the People can help if you can’t vote in term limits. Just let us know; we may be waiting on our free stuff anyway, so we’ll have plenty of time. How about 3 to 10 million of us come to Washington and just sit down on the streets and sidewalks until you vote in term limits. I wouldn’t take too long to vote in term limits, though, because you might want to watch where you step when you come outside. It might be like California.

Also, this is to all of Washington: If you can’t work with the elected president of our great nation, resign your position, and We the People will replace you. If you don’t like living in the United States of America, get out. I would pay for a one way ticket, but I’m afraid too many will show up, and I can’t afford it. Mr. Bloomberg, would you help purchase these tickets for us? I hope you have enough money, because with what people say and do it looks like a lot of people will want a ticket.

We the People have never been more united, and we are watching now. The biased media has been exposed, and now they don’t even try to hide it. Where have honor and pride gone?

Nothing worth having is free.
