FORTVILLE
Teresa Jo (Rogers) Campbell, age 65, of Fortville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home on Friday, January 17, 2020. She was born in Muncie, Indiana on August 5, 1954 to Carson Lee and Bonnie Mae (Hornback) Rogers. Teresa married Terry Eldon Campbell on February 15, 1986 in Fortville.
Teresa worked as a dry cleaning manager for over 30 years and then decided to finally follow her purpose in life which was being an amazing homemaker, Mammaw, and most of all our best friend. She cherished spending time with her grandkids. Her whole world was her grandkids. They came first, then family, then everything else. She always loved taking them swimming, camping, and shopping. Teresa loved to cook and would cook for anyone and everyone. Her home was always open. Teresa was always there to listen, care, and be a friend.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Terry “TC” Campbell of Fortville; son, DeWayne Acree; daughter, Jamie Acree; God daughter, Jeri (Jerry) Urbanus; foster daughter, Kay (Jon) Tornatto; seven grandchildren, Dale, Dustin, Taylor, Trucker, Megan, Kyle, and Andrew; four great-grandchildren, Braylon, Carter, Brody, Graham; brothers, Marvin (Kara) Rogers and Michael (Cyndee) Rogers; a sister, Lynda (Chuck) Keihn; and many other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carson and Bonnie Rogers.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020, at 5:30 p.m. at Brandywine Community Church, 1551 E. New Road, Greenfield, IN 46140. Pastor Matt Wickham will be officiating.
