Girls basketball state tourney pairings show set
The 45th annual IHSAA Girls Basketball Tournament Pairings Show will take place on Sunday at 5 p.m.
The state tournament draw can be viewed via webstream at IHSAAtv.org or heard on the IHSAA Champions Network.
The drawing will be hosted by Bob Lovell and Greg Rakestraw. Complete pairings will be available at IHSAA.org following the live broadcast.
A state tournament preview show will air on Fox Sports Indiana on a date and time to be announced.

Mt. Vernon ranked ninth in latest poll
The Mt. Vernon Marauders ran their winning streak to 18 straight games this week after occupying the ninth spot in the latest Indiana Basketball Coaches Association’s Top 20 Girls Rankings. Mt. Vernon is currently 19-1 on the season and 4-0 in the Hoosier Heritage Conference.

Fast Pitch Softball registration now open
Registration for the 2020 spring seasons for the Greenfield Fast Pitch Softball Association is now open through March 13.
Cost is $120 per player for for 8-under, 10-under, 11-under and up. Those parents that work a two-hour concession stand shift will receive a $20 reimbursement.
The cost for T-ball is $40 per player with no early bird or concession reimbursement.
The 6-under league is $70 per player with no early bird, but a $20 reimbursement for parents that work a two-hour concession stand shift.
Those families that are registering for 8-under and up can save up to $20 if they sign up by Feb. 17.
Opening Day is scheduled for April 18.
