Local real estate firm changes hands, affiliation

Claire Belby, senior vice president of marketing for F.C. Tucker, said the company has always respected the work Wilson and his team have done. She added F.C. Tucker did not yet have a presence in Greenfield despite many of its agents doing business in Hancock County.

F.C. Tucker will continue operating out of Wilson’s office at 1726 N. State. St. in Greenfield for at least the short term, Belby continued, adding the property is being leased.

Wilson said he was motivated to make the change due to a desire to get back to just selling real estate as opposed to selling along with running an office. He said he has no desire to retire, however. Last year was the best the firm has ever had, making it seem like a good time for the change as well, he also said.

Century 21 Wilson & Associates started in 2003, stemming from a real estate business Wilson’s family began at their kitchen table in 1964.
