WILKINSON
Sherrie Lee (Sergent) Collins, age 61, of Wilkinson, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Indianapolis on August 10, 1958 to Watson Leon and Edith Mae (Logan) Sergent. She graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1976. Sherrie married Mark Collins on December 31, 1982 in Fortville.
She was a homemaker and cherished raising her family. Sherrie attended Woodbury Community Church. She enjoyed bird watching, collecting antiques and figurines, animals, and shopping. She loved spending time with her family and grandsons.
Sherrie is survived by her husband, Mark Collins of Wilkinson; son, Travis Collins of Shelbyville; daughters, Elizabeth Collins of Noblesville and Melissa (Ross) Sheets of Indianapolis; grandsons, Ryker and Conner Sheets; mother, Edith Sergent of McCordsville; and sister, Jami Sergent of McCordsville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Watson Sergent.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Eric Sparks will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
