GREENFIELD — The Friends of Hancock County Public Library will conduct a gently used book sale from Nov. 22 through 25 at the Greenfield location, 900 W. McKenzie Road.

In addition to hardback and paperback books, the sale will include audio books, DVDs and CDs.

A members-only sale will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 21, but walk-ins can join the organization for $15 and shop the preview that night. Membership forms are available across from the library circulation desk.

The sale is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Nov. 22, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 23 and 1 to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 24. Most hardbacks cost a dollar, and paperbacks cost 50 cents. Children’s books are 50 cents and 25 cents. DVDs, CDs and audio books are $1.

Bargain day is from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 25. A standard paper grocery bag full of books sells for $3, a plastic grocery bag for $2.

Proceeds from the quarterly book sale fund free concerts and children’s special events.
