Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday morning. Those planning to visit a house of worship that morning should set their clocks back one hour before retiring Saturday night to ensure they arrive at the right time.

Fulbright to speak at Trinity Park

GREENFIELD — The Rev. Dr. Aleze Fulbright will be guest speaker in services at 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Sunday at Trinity Park United Methodist Church, 207 W. Park Ave., Greenfield.

McCordsville church sponsors coat drive

McCORDSVILLE — McCordsville United Methodist Church, 6247 W. Broadway, McCordsville, is having a coat drive through Nov. 9

Donors can drop off gently used and new coats at the church.

Donated coats will be distributed through Angel Food Connection. Donations will benefit families of Hancock County.

Mt. Lebanon offers chili and a movie

GREENFIELD — Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, will play host to a free chili and movie night on Nov. 17 at the church, 3447 S. State Road 9, Greenfield.

The chili dinner will start at 5:30 p.m. The movie “The Nativity Story” will be shown at 6:30 p.m.

This is a free event. The public is invited.

Talk for seniors addresses unarmed self-defense

MT. COMFORT — Prime Timers will meet at noon Nov. 13 at Amity United Methodist Church, 6042 W. County Road 100N, Greenfield.

The featured talk is "Unarmed Response to an Active Shooter," presented by Sgt. John Perrine of Indiana State Police District 52.

A free-will offering luncheon will follow.

Thanksgiving meal is Nov. 23

McCORDSVILLE — McCordsville United Methodist Church will serve a community Thanksgiving dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Nov. 23 at the church, 6247 W. Broadway, McCordsville.

Everyone is welcome. A free-will offering is accepted.
