Hancock Arts offers water color workshop

GREENFIELD — Artist Sandy Hall will lead a watercolor workshop from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 14 at Twenty North Gallery, 20 N. State St. Participants will receive guidance and interactive demonstrations, practice in blending and layering techniques, and instruction on how to incorporate use of a flat-edge brush to turn an abstract idea into a simple modern painting. Cooking classes available

GREENFIELD — The Purdue Extension Office will offer cooking demonstrations from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 17 and Nov. 13 at the Purdue Extension Office, 802 Apple St. All are invited to the workshop for some free samples and new ways to use farm-fresh seasonal foods. The workshop is sponsored by Hancock Regional Hospital, Healthy 365, Purdue Extension-Hancock County and the Hoosier Harvest Market.

Garage sale offers bargains on craft supplies

INDIANAPOLIS — The Crafter’s Garage Sale is back at Palette & Paper from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 11 and 8 a.m. a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 12 at 6421 Oaklandon Road. Tables full of craft supplies, including mini albums, stamps, stickers, paper, embellishments and craft storage will be priced to sell from fellow crafters cleaning out their supplies.
