Country Fair has food, crafts, mums, quilt raffle

IRVINGTON — Presbyterian Women will play host to the annual Country Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 5 at Irvington Presbyterian Church, 55 Johnson Ave., Indianapolis.

Events will include the Food Market with breads, chicken and noodles, and more; the Cookie Walk with dozens of baked cookies; the Mum Sale with 9-inch pots for $10 each; a craft area with wreaths, fall décor and more; and the Gift Basket Raffle with filled gift baskets until 1 p.m.

Lunch is available for purchase from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. featuring chili, hot dogs and drinks. A silent auction features “The Iris,” hand-quilted by award winner Lillian Beavers, until 1:30 p.m. Tickets for the raffle and silent auction entries are available from now until the day of the event.

There will be no rummage sale this year.

Country Fair is the annual fundraiser for PWC mission projects.

Neighborhood hot dog party set for Sept. 28

Generations Celebration coming to Fortville

FORTVILLE — Fortville Church of the Nazarene will have Generations Celebration Sunday on Sept. 29, featuring Scott Swan as guest speaker. The church will also recognize and honor Fortville-McCordsville Chamber of Commerce during this service as it launches its Community Connection Day. The service begins at 10:45 a.m.
