Marauders get first win of season
Mt. Vernon bounced back from a season-opening loss to the Arabians with their first win of the new season on Wednesday, topping Shelbyville 187 to 240.
Alaina Nugent was the medalist for the second straight match, this time carding a 38. Meredith Johnson had the next lowest score for Mt. Vernon with a 41.
The Marauders (1-1) are next in action Saturday at Whiteland at 1 p.m.
