FORTVILLE — Mt. Vernon Community School Corp. recently announced its Academic Wall of Fame inductees.
The inductees included Spelling Bee champions: Victoria Jenson (Mt. Vernon Middle School), Landon Willis (Fortville Elementary), Michael Jenkins (Mt. Comfort Elementary) and Neve O’Brien (McCordsville Elementary); Geography Bee champions: Sam Wilson (Mt. Vernon Middle School) and Claire Nicklin (Mt. Comfort Elementary); Addition T-Race champions: Elijah Lemmon (Fortville Elementary), Isaac Elmore (Mt. Comfort Elementary) and Noah Scott (McCordsville Elementary); and Multiplication T-Race champions: Emma Johnson (Fortville Elementary), Preston Fox (Mt. Comfort Elementary) and Nils Erkmanis (McCordsville Elementary). Additional inductees included Matthew Rollo as the 2019 valedictorian, Anne Hermann as salutatorian and Carly McWilliams as a National Merit Finalist.
