GREENFIELD — Shoppers this weekend in Greenfield can help kids in need of school supplies.

The Salvation Army Indiana Division is partnering Walmart stores across the state to “Stuff the Bus” on Saturday. Walmart shoppers online and in-store will receive a list of suggested supplies to help fill The Salvation Army’s bus or collection bin during the weekend event, which lasts from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Greenfield location, 1965 N. State St.

The goal of the “Stuff the Bus” campaign is to provide new school supplies for classrooms and Hoosier children in need across the state, according to a Salvation Army press release.

All donations made will remain in the local community and will help the Salvation Army provide support to local children in need and supplies to restock classrooms as the school year progresses, the release states.

Walmart and The Salvation Army have collaborated for more than 30 years on the campaign.
