Celebrate National Sandwich Month at the library

GREENFIELD — Teens in Grades 6-12 are invited to celebrate National Sandwich Month at 3:45 p.m. Monday at Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road. Activities include watching classic cartoons and building a delicious sandwich as a snack. No pre-registration is required for this program.

Families invited to Game Night

NEW PALESTINE — Board game enthusiast Liz Osisek welcomes families to Family Game Night, 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hancock County Public Library’s Sugar Creek Branch, 5731 W. U.S. 52. The gathering features a variety of new and classic games every month. Attendees can bring their own games or play to learn or just to have fun together. This program is free. Lego challenge is amusement park ride

GREENFIELD — Kids in kindergarten through fifth grade can compete against friends during a Lego building challenge from 4 to 5 p.m. Aug. 7 at Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road. This month’s project is to assemble an amusement park ride (example: a roller coaster). The day’s creations will remain on display in the children’s room for a month.
