HANCOCK COUNTY — A traffic accident on I-70 has taken the life of a motorcycle rider, investigators from the Greenfield Police Department and Greenfield Fire Department said. The accident happened at about 12:30 p.m. in the interstate’s westbound lanes between County Roads 800E and 850E. It appeared no other vehicles were involved and that the motorcyclist lost control and struck a guardrail on a small bridge. Investigators did not identify the rider pending notification of relatives, but they did confirm the rider was a man.
