Library offers space junk target practice for teens

GREENFIELD — Outer space can be a treacherous place filled with objects ready to smash into your spaceship or weird aliens ready to attack. Practice protecting yourself and your ship by using Nerf guns to knock down any threat at 3 p.m. July 16 at Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road. Writing camp planned at Riley Boyhood Home

GREENFIELD — Kids in Grades 2 through 6 are invited to attend Creative Writing Summer Camp, July 22 through 26 at the James Whitcomb Riley Boyhood Home, 250 W. Main St. The camp, led by Professor Watermelon (professorwatermelon.com), will help aspiring writers to find inspiration through a tour of the home of Indiana’s most famous poet and turn ideas into stories. Teen Dungeons and Dragons offered at Hometown Comics
