Greenfield Historic Landmarks offers free scan day

GREENFIELD — Greenfield Historic Landmarks invites the public to a Free Scan Day on June 30 at Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road. Bring photos of buildings, landmarks and other images unique to Hancock County and have them scanned in the computer lab. Those who go should bring a flashdrive on which to save photos or receive them via email shortly after the program. Select photos may be chosen for display on the Greenfield Historic Landmarks website with a photo credit.

The Ultimate Scavenger Hunt returns to Greenfield

GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Daily Reporter will play host to the second annual ULTIMATE Scavenger Hunt from 2 to 5 p.m. June 29 in Riley Park, 280 N. Apple St. Participants can win Cirque Du Soleil tickets, Holiday World tickets, cash prizes and prizes from local vendors. To play, participants can pre-register at the Daily Reporter, 22 W. New Road, for $5 per individual and $15 per family or sign up at Riley Park on the day of the event. All registrants must sign a waiver and receive a set of rules. T-shirts will be given to the first 100 registrants. At exactly 2 p.m. — and every 30 minutes — three GPS coordinates will be announced on the Ultimate Scavenger Hunt’s Facebook page. Wooden Bear to host karaoke
