This photo of the St. Michael Catholic Church bell is thought to be from the mid 1960s. The church moved into its fourth building in 1966 (see the local history feature Back When on today’s Lifestyle page). A parish directory identifies those in the photo as Orbie and Mary Padgett with George Rihm. Julie Motyka, archivist for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, would welcome more background information on the photo.
