“The Rocky Horror Picture Show” is this year’s play-a-part production at the Buck Creek Playhouse.

Bid online to play a part in “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”

INDIANAPOLIS — Let’s do the Time Warp again with the Buck Creek Players Play-a-Part Fundraiser production of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” All roles are cast through an online silent auction process with no required auditions, resulting in a musical comedy with a twist akin to “The Carol Burnett Show” or “Saturday Night Live.” In “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” Brad Majors and his fiancée, Janet Weiss — two wholesome, well-behaved, utterly normal young people in love — innocently set out to visit an old friend. Unfortunately, a thunderstorm and a flat tire force them to seek help at the castle of Dr. Frank ‘N’ Furter, an alien transvestite scientist with a manic genius and insatiable libido. Brad, Janet and Frank ‘N’ Furter’s cohorts are swept up into the scientist’s latest experiment for a ride no audience will soon forget. All participants/bidders must be 18 years of age or older. Bidding is open through June 23. Performances are Aug. 2, 3 and 4. Visit buckcreekplayers.com for more information.
