All the disaster movies combine at Buck Creek

INDIANAPOLIS — It’s 1979, and people are lining up for the opening of Tony Delvecchio’s new floating casino and discotheque. What begins as a night of boogie fever quickly changes to panic as the ship succumbs to earthquakes, tidal waves and numerous other disaster movie themes. Through a long night, everyone struggles to survive, escape killer rats and man-eating fish, and, of course, repair lost love. “Disaster the Musical,” directed by Scott Robinson and starring Greenfield residents Scott Fleshood and Corey Yeaman, features hit songs of the 1970s such as “Knock on Wood,” “Hooked on a Feeling,” “Sky High,” “I Am Woman” and “Hot Stuff.” “Disaster the Musical” shows through Sunday (June 16). Final weekend to see ‘Red, White and Tuna’

NOBLESVILLE — Hamilton County Theatre Guild presents the third installment in the Tuna trilogy, “Red, White and Tuna,” through Sunday (June 16) at the Belfry, 10690 Greenfield Ave. The three-person show takes the audience on a satirical ride into the hearts and minds of the polyester-clad citizens of Tuna, Texas, the state’s third-smallest town. Along with the regulars from previous Tuna scripts, some new Tuna denizens burst into the Fourth of July High School Class Reunion, which sets the stage for a show full of fireworks in the land where the Lions Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies.
