GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Toastmasters club will finish its “Best of…” series during its two meetings in June.

As in the previous two months, the club is having two speakers present a speech that they have done before that other members would like to hear again.

The meetings take place on the second and fourth Tuesday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at First Merchants Bank, 1810 N. State St.

Today (June 11), two of the Greenfield Toastmasters Club’s senior members, both statistical programmers, will give an encore presentation that they are giving later this month at a major pharmaceutical industry convention — on why one should join Toastmasters.

Also presenting is Brett Davis. He will give a humorous speech titled “With Friends like Pam, I don’t need any critics.”

On June 25, Judy Pike, a physical therapist who is passionate about the environment, will present "The New Green Energy." Her speech is about a form of energy that is not really new, but has been vilified by many in the green movement, despite its efficiency and potential to minimize carbon dioxide emissions.

Also presenting is Kodore Camara, who was born and raised in Nigeria. He will be giving his Ice Breaker — his first speech — all about his life.

There is no charge. For additional information, contact Meg at [email protected].
