GREENFIELD
Melanie Louise Riegle, 62, of Greenfield, IN, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. She was born on March 8, 1957 in Greenfield, IN, to Wesley George Riegle and Helen Molene (Silcox) Riegle.
After completing her education; she worked for many years in food service as a manager for local restaurants. Melanie loved the time she spent amongst family and close friends who will always remember her as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend.
Melanie is survived by her son, Kirk (Denise) Riegle; two grandchildren, Jacob Riegle and Shelbie Dixon; her siblings, Wesley (Linda) Riegle, Richard (Joyce) Riegle, Tonya Jones; half-sisters, Christy Riegle, and Regina Cooper; her nieces and nephews; as well as many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Family and friends may gather in Melanie’s memory on Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 1:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m. at Hendryx Mortuary – Cumberland Chapel, 11636 East Washington St., Indianapolis, IN, 46229. Funeral Services will be held on at 3:00 p.m. following visitation at the mortuary.
