HANCOCK COUNTY — The Hancock County Community Foundation awarded 121 scholarships to 84 recipients throughout the 2018-2019 school year.
Scholarships totaled almost $273,000. The foundation received 1,515 completed applications.
2019 scholarship amounts awarded by school were:
- Mt. Vernon High School – $36,361
- New Palestine High School – $38,996
- Eastern Hancock High School – $46,674
- Greenfield-Central High School – $74,688
- Other high schools – $11,068
- Current college students – $65,211
