HANCOCK COUNTY — A Greenfield Intermediate School student is holding a bowling fundraiser to help police departments in Fortville and New Palestine raise money for their K-9 programs.

Addison Brown, 11, Greenfield, has received donations from dozens of companies to help the cause, 10 Pins for K-9’s.

The event is set for Strike Force Lanes, 1539 W. Main Street, Greenfield, Friday, June 7 at 6 p.m. The live auction is expected to start at 8 p.m. Bowling is $15 for adults and students, and police officers who show their badge get to bowl for $10.

In addition to a silent auction, there will be a raffle, baked goods for sale, face painting and a photo booth so people who don’t want to bowl can still come and have a good time, organizers said.
