Bicycle skills class open to adults, teens

GREENFIELD — Registration has opened for a free adult bike skills and safety session next month.

The session is open to adults as well as teens who have waivers from their parents. It’s at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 22, in the parking lot at Greenfield Christian Church, 23 N. East St., Greenfield, and will last around an hour or less. Participants are asked to bring their own bike and not to park in the lot area where the session takes place.

Registration is ongoing until 3 p.m. Friday, June 14. The registration form can be accessed by visiting greenfieldin.org/parks and clicking on the "Programs" link in the drop-down menu. Forms are also available at Greenfield Parks and Recreation, 280 N. Apple St., Greenfield. Forms can be emailed to [email protected], faxed to 317-477-4341 and dropped off during business hours or through a drop-off slot after hours.

A minimum of five participants is needed before the June 14 registration deadline.

A rain-out date is possible and will be announced.
