GREENFIELD
Robert “Bob” Guernsey, age 68, of Greenfield, passed away on May 11, 2019, at Hancock Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 21, 1950, in Lebanon, IN to the late Paul Guernsey & Ida Guernsey.
He married the love of his life, Kathie Wright, on June 6, 1970. Robert graduated from Ball State University in 1971 with his bachelor’s degree and then again in 1976 with his master’s degree.
Robert was a devoted member of Greenfield Christian Church. He spent his career with IPS teaching and in administration, including Crispus Attucks and Shortridge for 35 years until his retirement in 2004.
Robert also worked for the Indiana Historical Society as a reenactor. Robert was a member of the Greenfield Freemasons, Sons of the American Legion, the Millersville York Rite and past Grand Lecture of the Grand Chapter of Indiana, but most of all, he loved spending time with his precious family who he loved dearly.

Visitation for Robert will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Stillinger Family Funeral, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday May 16, 2019 at Greenfield Christian Church, 23 N. East St with Pastor Frank Everett officiating. Burial will immediately follow the funeral service at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
