Indiana Farm Bureau names 2019 student scholarship winners
INDIANA — Indiana Farm Bureau and the Farm Bureau Foundation recently awarded scholarships to incoming or current college students involved in agriculture.
Among the recipients was Hancock County resident and Purdue University student Leah Jacobs.
Jacobs received one of two $1,000 scholarships offered to members of a collegiate Farm Bureau chapter. Jacobs is an active Collegiate Farm Bureau of Purdue member and is expected to graduate in May 2020. The scholarship money can be applied to tuition, housing, books and other educational expenses.
