Mt. Lebanon United Methodist plans fish fry

GREENFIELD — Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, 3447 S. State Road 9, Greenfield, will play host to its Spring Fish Fry from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 11.

The menu will include fried fish, French fries, hush puppies, baked beans, slaw, desserts and beverages. Hot dogs and carry-out will also be available. A free-will offering will be accepted, with proceeds used for missions and special projects.

Plant sale to fund sanctuary banners

BUCK CREEK TOWNSHIP — Amity United Methodist Church’s 16th annual plant sale continues from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday (May 4) at the church, 6042 W. County Road 100N.

The sale will feature small trees, annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, lilies, bushes, birdhouses, barn wood creations, watercolor greeting cards, Mother’s Day gifts and large porch pots.

All proceeds from the plant sale will benefit banners for the sanctuary. For more information about the sale, call Phyllis at 317-509-8569.

Rummage sale starts Friday

McCORDSVILLE — The United Methodist Women are having a rummage sale that continues from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday (May 4) at McCordsville United Methodist Church, 6247 W. Broadway, McCordsville.

Family to share music

FORTVILLE — Fortville Church of the Nazarene will play host to a morning of praise and worship led by the Mark Dubbeld Family at 10:45 a.m. Sunday.

An offering for their ministry will be received.

The family from Moneta, Virginia, writes its own music, performs in harmony, and aims to communicate the Gospel through their music and testimony.

The family consists of Mark and Janene along with their children Elena, 22; Channing, 17; and Britton, 14. Each plays an active role in the ministry.

The family has been the featured artist at National Quartet Convention for several years, featured on The Gospel Great Radio Program and generated seven Top 40 singles on the Southern Gospel charts, among other achievements.

The church is located at 701 S. Maple St., Fortville.
