Company to audition for ‘Mamma Mia!’

GREENFIELD — The CrazyLake Acting Company will hold auditions for its upcoming musical production of “Mamma Mia!” from 6 to 8:30 p.m. May 5 and 6 at the Dungeon at 98 E. North St. in Greenfield. Auditioners should wear clothing suitable for movement and prepare 30-60 seconds of an a cappella song. No audition monologues are required. “Mamma Mia!” features the music of the ‘70s rock group ABBA shaped around the story line of Donna, a single mother and innkeeper in the Greek islands, as she prepares for her daughter Sophie’s wedding. She is surprised when she realizes Sophie has secretly invited three men from her mother’s past in hopes of meeting her real father and having him escort her down the aisle on her big day. Parts are available for males and females aged high school through adult. Performance dates are July 12, 13, 14, 19, 20 and 21. Please e-mail [email protected] if you have further questions or visit the CrazyLake Facebook page for more information about roles and the rehearsal schedule.
