Comic and game store offers children’s programs

GREENFIELD — Hometown Comics and Games, 1040 N. State St. will begin offering children’s programs on April 6. Saturdays from 11 a.m. to noon, Frances will lead children 5 to 9 years of age through a story-telling adventure called “No Thank You, Evil!” Parents are welcome to attend. From 1 to 2:30 p.m. Dungeonmaster Charlie will lead kids ages 8 to 12 in role-playing adventure games. The $8 registration fee includes a snack. From 4 to 6 p.m., teens can play Dungeon and Dragons with Dragonmaster Charlie. From 4 to 7 p.m. ages 7 to 16 can learn to play Magic with Frances and participate in a tournament for prizes. Registration fees range from $4 to $8. Call the shop at 317-467-9050 to register to attend.

Tweens invited to shoebox puppet theater workshop

GREENFIELD — Tweens age 8 to 12 are invited to make a shadowbox puppet theater from a shoebox, and then make puppets to perform in it. The workshop runs from 4 to 5 p.m. Monday at Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road. All supplies are included for this free craft activity. Register to attend at hcplibrary.org.
