MORRISTOWN
Easter Lee (Roberts) Hatcher, age 92, of Morristown, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Morristown Manor. She was born in Franklin County, Illinois on March 29, 1926 to Arlie and Ella Mae (Cockrum) Roberts. She graduated from Sesser High School in 1944. Easter married Everett Leon Hatcher on April 13, 1944 in Sesser, Illinois.
She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Lee was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church in Greenfield.
Lee is survived by her children, Brenda (Jim) Wright of Greenfield, Sue (Jimmy) Bland of Greenfield, Patti (Frank) Phelps of Greenfield, and Cindy (Joe) Peters of Greenfield, and Greg Hatcher of Charlottesville; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Ezell of Sesser, IL; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; mother and father in law; sisters, Aileen Roberts and Flo Isom; daughter-in-law, Jonna Hatcher; great-grandson, Kyle Roberts; niece, Carol Jean Rowley; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; great nephew, Brandon Tindall; and two great nieces, Jennifer Long and Heather Long.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 25, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary. Pastor John Crisp will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
