Cougars fall in regular-season finale
In the last regular-season game of the year, the Greenfield-Central Cougars fell on the road to the Plainfield Quakers, 81-46.
The Cougars were led in scoring by three double-digit scorers on the night: Caleb Mundell with 13 points, Sam Hunt with 11 and Jacob Cochran with 10.
Also scoring for the Cougars were Gavin Rose with six points, Caleb McIntire with three, Brock Wheeler with two and Brady Mundell with one point.
Greenfield-Central finishes the regular season with a 4-19 record. The Cougars will face New Palestine in the opening round of sectional play on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. in Richmond.
