Sister Cities 5K marathon registration opens
GREENFIELD — Registration is now open for the annual Sister Cities of Greenfield 5K Run/Walk. The event, which raises money for the Sister Cities cultural exchange program between Greenfield and Kakuda, Japan, is slated for Aug. 17 on the Pennsy Trail, at the Sister Cities Park located adjacent to the Greenfield Police Department.
Every participant registered by Aug. 4 will receive a 5K T-shirt and goody bag for the $20 registration cost; cost rises to $25 after Aug. 4.
