County herb society picks Herb of the Year
GREENFIELD — Hancock County Herb Society will meet at 7 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Patricia Elmore Center, 280 N. Apple St. The program will feature the 2019 Herb of the Year, anise hyssop.
Those who go will learn about the history and lore, uses and propagation of the herb. Refreshments will be served.

Palette and Paper offers shadowbox workshop
INDIANAPOLIS — Palette and Paper, 6421 Oaklandon Road, will offer a Foundations Décor shadowbox workshop at 2 p.m. Feb. 9.
Participants will have the option of making one of three designs: Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day or Easter. The $20 registration fee includes the supplies to complete one box.
The elements in the box are magnetic and can be switched out with the seasons or holidays. To register to attend, email [email protected].
