Ballet company to hold auditions
GREENFIELD — Dance East Ballet Company will hold open auditions for its spring production of the ballet “Peter Pan” from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the studio, 28 N. East St. A mandatory parents’ meeting will be held at 10 a.m. Auditions are open to both dancers and non-dancers age 5 and up. Rehearsals will be held on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings beginning Jan. 18. Performances are April 6 and 7 at the Ricks Centre. For more information, call 317-318-9266.
Make a charm at the library
GREENFIELD — Teens and tweens in grades 6 through 12 are invited to drop in from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road, to make a good luck charm. Participants can create classic charms or learn about a new symbol of luck from another part of the world. Visit hcplibrary.org to register to attend this free program.
