Anna Rose Brothers, 88, of New Palestine, passed away on the early morning of Thursday, December 26, 2018 at Greenfield Healthcare in Greenfield. She was born January 27, 1930 in Washington, IN, one of eight children born to the late Frank A. Babrick, Sr. and Lillian D. (Bogard) Babrick.

Anna was a 1948 graduate of Washington High School and soon thereafter married the love of her life, Kenneth Ray Brothers on August 1, 1950 and a couple of years later moved to Indianapolis. Anna worked for several years as a banquet server at the former Stouffer Hotel and after retiring, spent her leisure time watching television. She especially enjoyed The Price Is Right and soap operas. She dearly loved her family and cherished the time she could be with them.

Anna is survived by her children, Kenneth David Brothers and Steve (Judy) Brothers; her grandchildren, Erin Brothers and Matthew (Kelly) Brothers; her great-grandson, Andrew Brothers and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in passing by her parents; her husband of 41 years, Kenneth in 1991; an infant son, Jeffrey in 1965 as well as her siblings, Katherine, Betty, Dick, Gene, Bill, Howard and Frank.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until time of the service. Entombment will be at Washington Park East Cemetery.
