Jingle John brings menagerie to library

GREENFIELD — Jingle John the Elf, accompanied by a reindeer and other North Pole wildlife, will visit the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road, from 4 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. Dec. 20. Audience members are welcome to interact with the animals during and after the show. Register to attend this free program at hcplibrary.org.

Postmark available from Santa Claus, IN

SANTA CLAUS — The special Santa Claus holiday postmark is available through the Santa Claus, Indiana, post office through Dec. 24. This famous small-town post office is the only one in the world with the Santa Claus name and receives over 400,000 pieces of mail in December. Each year, the postmark design is created by a local high school student for use on cards and letters during the holiday season. Visit Santa at the Court House Plaza

GREENFIELD — Santa’s House at the Court House Plaza will be open for visits and photos through Dec. 23. Friday hours are 6 to 8:30 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday hours are from 2 to 5 p.m.
