To the editor:
Commenting on the Greenfield-Central School Corporation ISTEP results, a spokesperson for the administration "celebrated" the results in some grade schools and intermediate schools.
However, it’s the 10th grade results that are truly scary, since that is the highest grade tested. The poor results show the final product of what we are sending out into the world.
Something must be done. However, nothing will happen until the school administration first admits that there is a problem. So I will have no confidence that the G-C learning problem will ever be addressed until the superintendent comes forward to admit the problem and tells us how it will be resolved.
