The Cumberland Police Department will be sponsoring a Monster Dash on Oct. 20 on the Pennsy Trail.
The event begins at 10 a.m. with an adult 5K run/walk. The children’s dash will follow at 11 a.m.
The dash will begin behind the Cumberland Town Hall, located at 11501 E. Washington St., Cumberland. Parking is available behind the town hall.
Also included in the event will be kids activities, a costume contest, trunk-or-treat and a silent auction. All proceeds will go to the Cumberland Mental Health Care Unit.
Registration for the dash is $20, and includes a T-shirt. Kids participate for free.
