CoderDojo offers coding skills to students

GREENFIELD — The first session of the Greenfield CoderDojo will meet from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the NineStar Connect North Campus, 2331 E. County Road 600 N. The event will offer hands-on coding stations, pizza and cupcakes to intermediate and junior high school students. Parents are welcome to check out the activities with their children. Library offers pumpkin painting project

GREENFIELD — Kids in grades K through 5 can create a painting of a pumpkin at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road. The young artists will follow step-by-step directions from an instructor for this art project on canvas. All attending this free program should register to attend at hcplibrary.org and dress for painting.

Children can collect treats during ZooBoo

INDIANAPOLIS — ZooBoo returns to the Indianapolis Zoo, 1200 W. Washington St., Thursdays through Sundays from 2 to 7 p.m. through the end of October. This annual event features a variety of activities such Pumpkin Town, a popcorn potion, a creature petting zoo, a mirror maze, pumpkin bowling, a backwards running merry-go-round and a spooktacular train ride.
