GREENFIELD — Hancock County Extension Homemakers present this year’s quilt for its annual raffle. Opportunities to win this machine-stitched coverlet will be available throughout the fall months with a drawing for the quilt to take place in November. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go to benefit scholarships given in the spring to two Hancock County seniors and an adult in the community who is seeking continuing education.
This year’s quilt, entitled “Blue Plate Special,” features shades of lavender and purple on a white background.
Tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5 and may be obtained from any Hancock County extension homemaker or by calling Rosalie Hunt at 317-485-5609. The quilt will be displayed during Riley Festival in the Home Arts Building and at the Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, November 3, 2018, where the drawing for the quilt will take place.
