GREENFIELD — Tuttle Orchards, 5717 W. County Road 300 N., hosts the second weekend of its Caramel Apple Festival 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. Attendees can build their own caramel apples ($4.95) and search the grounds for tickets for free caramel apples. Admission is free; combo passes for activities, which include the Agrimaze, Tractor Town and a hayride, are available for $9. CARMEL — The Indianapolis Opera opens its season with Giacomo Puccini’s “La Boheme.” Puccini’s tragedy will perform at The Tarkington at the Center for the Performing Arts, 3 Center Green, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The production will be sung in Italian with projected English supertitles. Metropolitan Opera tenor Gregory Turay takes the stage in the leading role of Rodolfo opposite Cristina Bakhoum Sanchez, as the leading soprano, Mimì. Baritone Daniel Narducci will sing the role of Marcello, and Musetta will be sung by soprano Donata Cucinotta.  NASHVILLE — Now that summer is drawing to a close, the Brown County Leaf Cam is up and running. The Leaf Cam, at browncounty.com/leaf-cam, offers clear footage of Brown County State Park’s nationally-known fall color foliage from sunrise to sunset. The camera is mounted atop a cabin near the Bean Blossom overlook for panoramas — refreshing every 15 minutes — of Brown County’s autumn leaf change.
