‘Exit the Body’ mystery playing

INDIANAPOLIS — “Exit the Body” opens tomorrow at the Mud Creek Barn, 9740 E. 86th St. and plays through Sept. 29. What happens when a mystery writer rents a New England house that happens to be the rendezvous point for some jewel thieves? A body found in the closet disappears only to be succeeded by another. The Belfry opens with ‘Our Town’

NOBLESVILLE — The Belfry, 10690 Greenfield Ave., opens its 54th season with “Our Town” by Thornton Wilder. “Our Town” tells the story of everyday lives in a fictional small town in America during the early 1900s. Performed with props and pantomime on a bare stage, life, love and death unfold, offering universal truths about what it means to be human. “Our Town” plays Sept. 14 through 30.
