NINEVEH, INDIANA
John Hayes Nugent, 62, of Nineveh, IN, passed away on August 11, 2018. John was born Febuary 18, 1956, and raised in Indianapolis, IN, by his parents, Jack Nugent and Virginia (Hayes) Nugent. After completing his education, he worked for many years at Utility Supply Company. He later met and married his wife and high school sweetheart, Mary (Magenheimer) Nugent, and they have been happily married for seven years. John had many joys in life; he enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR and racing, as well as watching his favorite sports teams, the Indianapolis Colts and the Pacers, play. He had a passion for music and took pride in playing his guitar with his “musical brothers” in their band, The Thunder Club, but found the most joy in the time he spent with family and close friends. John is survived by his wife, Mary (Magenheimer) Nugent; step-son, William Dyer; brothers, Edward Nugent, Peter Nugent, Andy Nugent; sister, Lisa Miner; his “musical brothers”, Al Bearman, Glen Pierle, Daryl Cox, and Bruce Weingardt, as well as many family and friends who will miss him very much. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his previous wife, Murray Dyer Nugent. A celebration of life for John will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2018, from 3 to 8 p.m. at That Place Bar & Grill, 8810 S. Emerson Ave., Greenwood, IN 46237.
