Greenfield Historic Landmarks will have its annual meeting Aug. 12 at its office located at Photon Automation, 275 Center St.
At the meeting, open to members and the public, president Cathleen Huffman will give an overview of the organization’s goals and activities.
Board members Marciann McClarnon Miller, Rosalie Richardson and Tom Strickland will preview a work-in-progress television production for NineStar. The multimedia project centers on Greenfield’s historic “gas boom” in the late 19th century which brought prosperity to the young city and contributed significantly to its growth.
Light refreshments will be served.
The objective of Greenfield Historic Landmarks is to preserve the history and architectural integrity of Greenfield and Hancock County.
