The Greenfield Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting its ninth annual Chocolate Walk on Aug. 10.
So far, Chamber officials say they have 19 vendors signed up to give out a total of 6,650 samples of chocolate.
Check in for the event is from 5-6 p.m., with the walk running until 9 p.m.
Prepay tickets are $15 a person, going up to $20 the day of the event. The Chamber plans to donate a portion of the proceeds to the Read-Up program. The program, which includes four Greenfield elementary schools, pairs adult tutors with third-grade students who need help with reading. The donation can help pay for books, pencils, maps and bookmarks.
Tickets have sold out the past two years. They can be purchased on the Chamber’s website, greenfieldcc.org.
