To the editor:
The liberal writer regularly featured in the Reporter may have forgotten that every other country has secure borders, not wide-open let-anyone-in idiocy like the Democrats advocate.
The USA does act to please the “eyes” of the world, as the Democrats also seem to think is of paramount importance. We cannot allow illegals to invade America, but insist on legal, orderly, verifiable procedures to ensure who comes in will be an asset to the country.
Democrats seem to see no problem with allowing MS-13 thugs and any other low-life criminals in, as long as they vote for the “free stuff” party. This is just one more issue the left is on the wrong side of and one more reason they are defeated, leaderless, aimless and floundering and headed for a very long time in the wilderness.
Things are only getting worse for the left with the recent hard left/socialism turn the leaders of the party have taken. They just seem incapable of connecting with the majority of the country.
